What it costs you
You pay for the prints you actually order, and separately for the storage that keeps your master files ready to print. There is no commission on your sales, no per-order fee and no listing cost. What you charge your customer on top is entirely yours.
There is no free plan
We would rather charge $5 a month and mean it than run a free tier the paying artists quietly fund. Holding a print master costs real money every month, so a free tier is not free - it is just billed to someone else, usually the artists ordering the most prints. We do not waive it either, and that is the same argument. A waived subscription does not make the storage stop costing anything; it just moves the cost into the print price, where everyone pays it - including the artists storing almost nothing. Charging for storage separately is exactly what keeps it out of what you pay per print.
How the storage plan behaves
The subscription exists to cover the cost of keeping your print masters safe and ready. It is not a commission in disguise, and it is deliberately priced close to what the storage actually costs.
The size guide assumes a 16-bit A2 TIFF at about 165 MB. An 8-bit file is roughly half that, with no visible difference in print.
Only your master files count towards the quota. Previews and thumbnails we generate are free.
Running out of space stops new uploads. It never stops an order - prints you have already set up keep selling and shipping.
Every plan can be paid monthly or yearly, and you can switch between the two whenever you like. Paying yearly costs about two months less.
Printing a lot does not earn you free storage, and printing nothing does not cost you more per print. The two prices are kept apart on purpose.
You can cancel at any time and the plan runs to the end of the period you have paid for. Your files are not deleted - the library goes read-only, uploads stop, prints already set up keep selling, and we write to you before anything is removed.
Print pricing
These are the studio's published per-size prices, read live from its catalogue rather than copied into this page. Take a size, add what you would charge a collector for it, and the difference is your margin.
Prices are per print, made to order, and there is no minimum quantity. Framing is priced separately and ships differently - a glazed parcel costs more to send, and more again to Western Australia and the Northern Territory. Pricing applies to correctly set up, print-ready files.
